Upgrade to gradle plugin 9.0. This adds support for Java 25

cf30423ee9 Update play button on wearos instantly (#8577)
### Description

Update play button on wearos instantly by pushing events from the phone
to the watch. Also extend documentation around wearos communication

b8f8426c8c Add nicer play/pause button on WearOS (#8564)
### Description

Add nicer play/pause button on WearOS. During playback (and shortly
after), shows a large playback button instead of a simple "play on
phone" button.

3a7f18a7fa Migrate Gradle dependencies to version catalogs (#8443)
### Description

Migrate Gradle dependencies to version catalogs. This is the modern
style of managing dependencies. Confirmed with diff on `./gradlew
:app:dependencies` that no versions changed.

5fe70196eb Basic WearOS app (#8396)
### Description

An initial minimal implementation for a Wear OS app. So far, the wear
app can only display episodes and start them on the phone. No standalone
features available yet.
