usb: uvc: Enumerate valid values for color matching

media: uvcvideo: Silence memcpy() run-time false positive warnings
[ Upstream commit b839212988575c701aab4d3d9ca15e44c87e383c ] The memcpy() in uvc_video_decode_meta() intentionally copies across the length and flags members and into the trailing buf flexible array. Split the copy so that the compiler can better reason about (the lack of) buffer overflows here. Avoid the run-time false positive warning: memcpy: detected field-spanning write (size 12) of single field "&meta->length" at drivers/media/usb/uvc/uvc_video.c:1355 (size 1) Additionally fix a typo in the documentation for struct uvc_meta_buf. can: error: specify the values of data[5..7] of CAN error frames

Currently, data[5..7] of struct can_frame, when used as a CAN error
frame, are defined as being "controller specific". Device specific
behaviours are problematic because it prevents someone from writing
code which is portable between devices.
As a matter of fact, data[5] is never used, data[6] is always used to
report TX error counter and data[7] is always used to report RX error
counter. can-utils also relies on this.
This patch updates the comment in the uapi header to specify that
data[5] is reserved (and thus should not be used) and that data[6..7]
are used for error counters.

UPSTREAM: binderfs: use __u32 for device numbers
We allow more then 255 binderfs binder devices to be created since there are workloads that require more than that. If we use __u8 we'll overflow after 255. So let's use a __u32. Note that there's no released kernel with binderfs out there so this is not a regression. xfrm: enforce validity of offload input flags
commit 7c76ecd9c99b6e9a771d813ab1aa7fa428b3ade1 upstream.
struct xfrm_user_offload has flags variable that received user input,
but kernel didn't check if valid bits were provided. It caused a situation
where not sanitized input was forwarded directly to the drivers.
For example, XFRM_OFFLOAD_IPV6 define that was exposed, was used by
strongswan, but not implemented in the kernel at all.
As a solution, check and sanitize input flags to forward
XFRM_OFFLOAD_INBOUND to the drivers.

fq_codel: reject silly quantum parameters

syzbot found that forcing a big quantum attribute would crash hosts fast,
essentially using this:
tc qd replace dev eth0 root fq_codel quantum 4294967295
This is because fq_codel_dequeue() would have to loop
~2^31 times in :

serial: 8250: Define RX trigger levels for OxSemi 950 devices

Oxford Semiconductor 950 serial port devices have a 128-byte FIFO and in
the enhanced (650) mode, which we select in `autoconfig_has_efr' with
the ECB bit set in the EFR register, they support the receive interrupt
trigger level selectable with FCR bits 7:6 from the set of 16, 32, 112,
120. This applies to the original OX16C950 discrete UART[1] as well as
950 cores embedded into more complex devices.
For these devices we set the default to 112, which sets an excessively
high level of 112 or 7/8 of the FIFO capacity, unlike with other port
types where we choose at most 1/2 of their respective FIFO capacities.
Additionally we don't make the trigger level configurable. Consequently
frequent input overruns happen with high bit rates where hardware flow
control cannot be used (e.g. terminal applications) even with otherwise
highly-performant systems.
Lower the default receive interrupt trigger level to 32 then, and make
it configurable. Document the trigger levels along with other port
types, including the set of 16, 32, 64, 112 for the transmit interrupt
as well[2].

icmp: don't send out ICMP messages with a source address of 0.0.0.0

When constructing ICMP response messages, the kernel will try to pick a
suitable source address for the outgoing packet. However, if no IPv4
addresses are configured on the system at all, this will fail and we end up
producing an ICMP message with a source address of 0.0.0.0. This can happen
on a box routing IPv4 traffic via v6 nexthops, for instance.
Since 0.0.0.0 is not generally routable on the internet, there's a good
chance that such ICMP messages will never make it back to the sender of the
original packet that the ICMP message was sent in response to. This, in
turn, can create connectivity and PMTUd problems for senders. Fortunately,
RFC7600 reserves a dummy address to be used as a source for ICMP
messages (192.0.0.8/32), so let's teach the kernel to substitute that
address as a last resort if the regular source address selection procedure
fails.

bpf: Add BPF_F_ANY_ALIGNMENT.
commit e9ee9efc0d176512cdce9d27ff8549d7ffa2bfcd upstream Often we want to write tests cases that check things like bad context offset accesses. And one way to do this is to use an odd offset on, for example, a 32-bit load. This unfortunately triggers the alignment checks first on platforms that do not set CONFIG_EFFICIENT_UNALIGNED_ACCESS. So the test case see the alignment failure rather than what it was testing for. It is often not completely possible to respect the original intention of the test, or even test the same exact thing, while solving the alignment issue. Another option could have been to check the alignment after the context and other validations are performed by the verifier, but that is a non-trivial change to the verifier. Signed-off-by: David S. and should no longer be used by kernel drivers.
Fix the misspelled "__KERNEL__" compile guards which failed their sole

UPSTREAM: fs-verity: move structs needed for file signing to UAPI header
Although it isn't used directly by the ioctls, "struct fsverity_descriptor" is required by userspace programs that need to compute fs-verity file digests in a standalone way. Therefore it's also needed to sign files in a standalone way. Similarly, "struct fsverity_formatted_digest" (previously called "struct fsverity_signed_digest" which was misleading) is also needed to sign files if the built-in signature verification is being used. Therefore, move these structs to the UAPI header. While doing this, try to make it clear that the signature-related fields in fsverity_descriptor aren't used in the file digest computation. Instead you want to use CLOCK_BOOTTIME. Hence add bpf_ktime_get_boot_ns() as a mirror of bpf_ktime_get_ns() based around CLOCK_BOOTTIME instead of CLOCK_MONOTONIC. The uapi is the same on 32 and 64 bit, but the number isn't. Everyone who botched this please re-read: https://www.kernel.org/doc/html/v5.4-preprc-cpu/ioctl/botching-up-ioctls.html Also, the type argument for the ioctl macros is for the type the void __user *arg pointer points at, which in this case would be the variable-sized char[] of a 0 terminated string. So this was botched in more than just the usual ways.
