[ Upstream commit ce8c80c536dac9f325a051b30bf7730ee505eddc ] On the affected Cortex-A76 cores (r0p0 to r3p0), if a virtual address for a cacheable mapping of a location is being accessed by a core while another core is remapping the virtual address to a new physical page using the recommended break-before-make sequence, then under very rare circumstances TLBI+DSB completes before a read using the translation being invalidated has been observed by other observers. The workaround repeats the TLBI+DSB operation and is shared with the Qualcomm Falkor erratum 1009 Reviewed-by: Suzuki K Poulose <suzuki.poulose@arm.com> Signed-off-by: Catalin Marinas <catalin.marinas@arm.com> [uli: backport to 4.19] Signed-off-by: Ulrich Hecht <uli@kernel.org>

Linux kernel
============
There are several guides for kernel developers and users. These guides can
be rendered in a number of formats, like HTML and PDF. Please read
Documentation/admin-guide/README.rst first.
In order to build the documentation, use ``make htmldocs`` or
``make pdfdocs``. The formatted documentation can also be read online at:
https://www.kernel.org/doc/html/latest/
There are various text files in the Documentation/ subdirectory,
several of them using the Restructured Text markup notation.
See Documentation/00-INDEX for a list of what is contained in each file.
Please read the Documentation/process/changes.rst file, as it contains the
requirements for building and running the kernel, and information about
the problems which may result by upgrading your kernel.
